DIY Easy No Sew Pumpkin Centerpieces With Laura Prietto

The cool, crisp air, trees with their beautiful color changing leaves, hints of cinnamon and nutmeg beginning to fill our homes; fall is finally here! With these sweet fall days means the holidays are quickly approaching.

We love having our little ones help us prepare for all that the holidays have in store. Our friend Laura is back with another sweet and easy craft to make the holidays a little extra special. She shares with us these very simple, but oh so cute, pumpkins that can be used as center pieces during family gatherings or autumn décor around your home. It’s the perfect activity for you and your little ones to do while warming up after adventuring in the cool fall air.

Supplies:

-Roll of toilet paper (you could use different sizes for different size pumpkins)

-Fabric squares (20”x20” each)

-Ribbon

-Stick

**We have created kits on our website to make it extra easy for you. The kit includes: 3 fabric squares and 3 pieces of cut ribbon. All you need to gather on your own would be the roll of toilet paper and a stick.

Directions:

Step 1: Gather your supplies

Step 2: Set your roll of toilet paper in the center of your fabric square. Fold one corner into the center of the roll.

Step 3: Lightly fold and gather the edge of the fabric to also tuck into the center of the roll

Step 4: Continue gathering and tucking the fabric all the way around the roll until all of the fabric is tucked in the center and covering the entire roll.

Step 5: Lay the ribbon across the center of the roll

Step 6: Use your stick to push the ribbon into the center of the roll. This creates the stem and leaves of the pumpkin

Step 7: Repeat the above steps to create your very own little pumpkin patch! You can use different size rolls of toilet paper if you would like variation in your pumpkins’ sizes.

While we created these pumpkins with Thanksgiving in mind as cute table center pieces, they are also perfect as simple fall décor around your homes all season long. Your fabric can be any color or print, the design options are endless. Let your creativity shine!
