DIY Valentines With Laura Prietto
Valentine’s Day is only a couple of weeks away. Pink and red decorations, heart shaped candy, and of course Valentine’s cards are everywhere you look. So our friend and resident crafter, Laura, is back again with a sweet and simple Valentine card craft that you and your kiddos can do together! They are perfect to give out to friends during classroom Valentine’s Day parties or to family to just say I love you! Handmade Valentines are always just a little extra special.
Supplies:
- Card Stock/Sturdy Paper
- Letter Stamps
- Fabric Scraps
- Scissors
- Glue
Step 1: Gather your materials and cut your cardstock to your desired card size
Step 2: Cut your fabric scraps into cute shapes (Tip: Cut the shapes you would like on your card out of paper. Use a piece of rolled tape to hold it onto the fabric while you cut out the shape.)
Step 3: Glue your Fabric shapes to your card
Step 4: Use your letter stamps to stamp messages onto your cards
Step 5: Give your finished cards to all of your loved ones!
